GRACE MOORE

DipCHyp, HPD, NLP (MPrac.), TIYT, BSc

Therapist Yoga Facilitator Creative

I’m a heart-led creative, therapist, and trauma-informed yoga teacher based in Staffordshire, England. I specialise in supporting adults, teens and children through a variety of life’s difficulties, with a particular focus on trauma, grief, and suicide loss. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a trauma-informed, heart-led way of working. It draws on my professional training as a therapist, my lived experience of complex loss, and years of gently holding space for others walking their own path through grief.

It is through my own life experiences, and years of training and study, as well as my deep empathy and person-centred care, that I am able to provide a calm, safe and compassionate space for others to feel seen, heard and understood.

A GLIMPSE INTO MY HEART

I LOVE FINDING LIFE’S simple JOYS

I adore tulips, sunflowers and gypsophila, feeling the warmth of my morning cup of coffee in between my palms, reading and writing poetry, being barefoot in nature, adventuring with my beautiful partner, and, of course, cuddles with my Golden Retriever, Nala (whose currently in training to be a therapy dog). I love exploring new ways to practice presence and seek creative rest — my current loves are learning how to bake homemade sourdough and focaccia!

I begun practicing yoga at the young age of thirteen to support my mental health. It provided me a well of valuable resources for self-regulation which came in useful during my elite sporting career as an acrobatic gymnast. After years of falling in love with the practice, in 2019, I completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in northwest Sri Lanka. Later that year, I travelled to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, where I further specialised in Trauma-Informed Yoga with SoulWork™ and the BodyWise Institute — my heart’s home.

I graduated Leeds Trinity University in 2019 with a First Class BSc Honours Degree in Sport, Health and Nutritional Science. Alongside my work as a therapist and website designer, I also work part-time within the NHS as an Assistant Dietitian in mental health, supporting adults within an acute psychiatric inpatient unit.

a gentle invitation

My style of teaching yoga and holding safe, trauma-informed space is based on my recognition of the innate wisdom of the human heart.

I offer yoga classes, workshops and retreats which invite deep listening, softening, and receptivity while simultaneously activating inner-power, self-responsibility, and trust.

With compassion, Grace guides those she works with to enter into a dialogue with their body, mind and heart in a respectful way.
