STILLING THE FLAME —
AUTUMN DAY RETREAT
Date: Sunday 12th October, 10:00 – 16:00
Location: Tixall Village Hall, Stafford, ST18 0XT
Investment: £90 (pay in full, or spread the cost in three equal instalments of £30)
Held in the hush between seasons, Stilling the Flame is a one-day retreat to gather what’s been scattered, tend the embers, and return to the steadiness of your own inner flame before the year begins its slow descent. After the outward energy of summer, this is an invitation to step away from the noise, the lists, the doing — to take a slow exhale, and remember how it feels to be still. To rest, not as an afterthought, but as something sacred.
LIMITED TO 12 SPACES
A day to slow down and steady your inner flame
WHAT TO EXPECT
Autumn’s shorter days, turning leaves and crisp air bring a natural invitation to slow down. This one-day retreat is a space to honour the shift in seasons and nurture your own sense of internal steadiness. You’ll be guided through gentle, grounding movement, restorative practices, breathwork, meditation, seasonal reflection and journaling. We will share a nourishing vegetarian lunch together, followed by an invitational countryside stroll to soak in the beauty of the season. Between moments of guided practice, there will be time to simply be — to feel the stillness settle in and to tend to your inner flame, so it may carry its light through the colder days to come. My hope is that this day offers you warmth, grounding, and clarity, so you can step back into daily life feeling restored and ready for the season ahead.
