A welcome space and opportunity to celebrate the joy, love and blessings that Twenty Twenty-Three has had to offer; to reflect on the ways in which your life and heart have been shaped; and to commemorate the courage, wisdom, and emotional resilience that you have harnessed throughout. We gather together as a community to honour the end of another year and prepare to welcome in the next with a grateful heart and gentle wonder.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Be prepared for a gentle and deeply restorative evening of warmth, community, and Winter Solstice magic. This annual pre-Christmas event is a relaxing and heart-warming opportunity to give back to yourself and recharge amidst the busy festive period. The evening will focus on bringing balance and calmness to the body, mind and heart; while fostering a sense of gratitude and wonder through powerful reflective and intention-setting practices.

  • We’ll open the evening with soothing breathwork to regulate the nervous system, followed by a sweet intention setting practice. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter is the time when the water element — the root of vitality, comes into dominance. The water element manifests within the kidney and bladder meridians in the body, so our extended Yin Yoga practice will explore postures that stimulate and nourish these meridians to invite deep relaxation and revitalise our energetic system.

    From the Yin Practice, we’ll transition softly into Yoga Nidra and meditation by the warming glow of candlelight, followed by a powerful gratitude practice. We’ll close the evening with hot chocolate, herbal teas, freshly baked gingerbread and mince pies, and plenty of time for connection and wholesome conversation.

    All are welcome in this space — whether you’re new to yoga or a regular practitioner; just come with an open heart and a willingness to unwind and reconnect to what’s most important during this festive season.

FAQ’S

  • This event is now fully booked. Click here to join the waitlist to be contacted should there be any cancellations.

  • Please arrive by 18:40 so that you have time to get settled in the space. We will start promptly at 18:45, and the practice itself will run until 20:30, at which time there will be festive refreshments provided and chance to connect with other like-minded hearts. The evening will end at 21:00.

  • If you have your own yoga mat and props then please bring these with you, but don’t worry if you don’t —there are mats and props available to lend upon request. Please also bring a bottle of water, warm clothing and a blanket for the meditation at the end of the practice.

  • Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable in that allow you to move freely, such as t-shirts, tracksuits, or any sports or yoga clothing you may have.

  • Of course! This event is suitable for all levels and beginners are more than welcome. Modifications are always offered and encouraged.

  • Yes, of course! One of the biggest myths surrounding yoga is that you need to be flexible — you don’t! Grace’s approach to teaching yoga is gentle, intuitive and allows yoga to be accessible by everyone. There will be lots of options and modifications offered throughout, so you can tailor the practice to meet your body’s needs. These spaces are safe, supportive and non-judgemental — you are more than welcome to join us.

  • We understand that life happens and sometimes our plans must change. All events are non-refundable, however, with at least 48-hours notice, we will happily let you transfer your payment to another upcoming event. Cancellations with less than 24-hours notice are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
