ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Taught by Grace Moore, Acro Yoga Teacher and Former National Acrobatic Gymnast, this 3-Hour Workshop offers the opportunity to learn and experience the arts of both Acro Yoga and Hand Balancing.

Acro Yoga is a fun, inclusive, and playful practice that combines three main lineages: Acrobatics, Yoga and Healing Arts. It not only teaches physical skills, but also fosters the feeling of connection and adds a powerful element of play and creativity into our life. Everyone is welcome in this space, no matter your experience, strength, flexibility, shape or size; guidance and modifications will be given for all. Feel free to come solo, or bring friends!

We’ll begin with a fun gymnastic-style warm-up and an exploration of calisthenic and partner conditioning exercises, followed by two ‘Mini-Workshops’ — click below to find out more about each. The workshop is held in a fully matted out venue.

    • Learn and master the foundations of a strong handstand.

    • Practices and drills to learn and train your handstand (from beginner to advanced).
